Google Pixel 9a - Remove Gmail Account

Removing a Google™ (Gmail™) account from your Pixel 9a can be helpful when switching accounts, troubleshooting login or email sync issues, or ensuring your data stays private.
  1. Open the
    Settings app
    .
  2. Tap
    Passwords, passkeys & accounts
    .
  3. Tap the applicable Gmail account.
  4. Tap
    Remove account
    .
  5. Tap
    Remove account
     to confirm.
  6. If prompted, review the prompt then tap
    OK
    .
  7. If prompted, enter the current lock method (e.g., Fingerprint, PIN, etc.).
