Here's how to set up and remove a facial recognition scan on your Samsung Galaxy S24 FE.
- Ensure a secure screen lock type has been set up.
- Open theSettings app.
- Navigate: .
- Enter the current PIN, password or pattern.
- TapFace recognitionthen do one of the following:
- For first-time setup:
- From the Face recognition screen, review the info about Face recognition then tapContinue.
- While holding the phone 8-20 inches away, position your face within the circle displayed onscreen until 'Face registered' displays.
- From the 'Face recognition' menu, tap any of the following switch(es) to turn on or off (e.g., Face unlock, Stay on Lock screen until swipe, etc.).
- To remove face data:
- From the 'Face recognition' menu, tapRemove face data.
- To confirm, review the disclaimer then tapRemove.
