Apple iPad - Add a Personal / Corporate Email Account
Here's how to set up a personal / corporate email account to your Apple iPad.
Set up a Personal Email Account
- Open theSettings appon your Apple® iPad®.
- Navigate:.AppsMailMail Accounts
- TapAdd Account.
- Tap the appropriate account type (e.g., iCloud®, Google™, etc.).If selecting iCloud, refer to Add an iCloud Email Account.If selecting Other, refer to Manually Add a Personal Account.
- Enter the account info (e.g., Name, Email, Password, etc.) then tapNext.Depending on the account type the options may vary.
- Configure the sync options (e.g., Mail, Contacts, etc.) as desired.Tap the switch to turn on or off.
- TapSave(upper-right).
Set up a Corporate Email Account
Verizon verifies access to data services only, which can be checked by viewing a website. If you need assistance setting up a corporate email account, contact your Exchange / IT admin.
- Open theSettings app.
- Navigate:.AppsMailMail Accounts
- TapAdd Accountthen tapMicrosoft Exchange.
- Enter the account info (e.g., Email, Password, Description etc.) then tapNext.
- Ensure the appropriate info (e.g., Email, Server, Domain, etc.) is entered into the following fields then tapNext.If needed, engage your Exchange / IT admin for additional support
- Tap the appropriate data sync options (e.g., Mail, Contacts, etc.) to turn on or off.
- TapSave.
