Change Network Mode - Verizon 4G LTE USB Modem UML295
If your Verizon 4G LTE USB Modem UML295 drops data connections due to being near a network border, locking onto a specific network can help; however, roaming charges may apply.
- From Verizon Mobile Broadband Manager, clickMenulocated in the upper right.
- ClickSettings.
- Click the 'Network type'dropdown menu.If not available, click4G LTE(located within the Connectivity section on the left).
- Select the applicable setting:
- Global
- LTE/CDMA Mode
- GSM/UMTS Mode
- If applicable, click the 'Subtype'dropdown menu.
- Select the applicable setting:The preferred international carrier is automatically selected. You can manually tap an alternate carrier but it may require as many as 6 registration attempts with that carrier before successful registration.

- UMTS Only
- ClickSave Settingslocated in the lower right; may require scrolling to the bottom.
