Yes. Verizon Visa Card holders get the best rewards experience when they’ve installed both the My Verizon app and the Verizon Visa Card app on their devices. Verizon Visa Card holders can download the apps through an app store on their mobile device.

The Verizon Visa Card app can also be accessed and downloaded through the My Verizon app menu:

• Click Download app > Get

Once downloaded, a card holder must register using their permanent credit card number, billing ZIP code and last 4 digits of your Social Security number. To continue using the mobile app after registration, a card holder must have My Verizon login credentials and access.

1. Launch Settings from your home screen.
2. Tap Screen Time.

Yes. Account Owners who are the primary card holders can add authorized users to their credit card account.

• All earned Verizon Dollars¹ will accumulate together in your shared Verizon Dollar Bank in My Verizon website and My Verizon app, and on the Verizon Visa Card app.
• Verizon Dollars can only be redeemed by the Account Owner or an Account Manager on your Verizon Wireless account.

Verizon Wireless bills:

You will have the opportunity to enroll your Verizon Visa Card in the Mobile + Home Discount program and earn 2% in rewards on your monthly bill.

Simply sign in to your My Fios and My Verizon Wireless accounts, then navigate to the Savings and Promotions Center. By selecting Yes when prompted to save your Verizon Visa Card during the Mobile + Home Discount enrollment, your Verizon Visa Card (or any future Verizon Visa Cards) will be saved to both of the linked My Fios and My Verizon Wireless accounts as a saved payment option for future purchases and bill payments by the respective Account Owner or Account Managers.

Yes, if you're instantly approved at a Verizon operated store or Verizon website, you can use your new Verizon Visa Card right away in the following ways:

• At the time of credit card approval, your new card will be automatically added to your Verizon Wireless account as your preferred method of payment for that day's purchase and future purchases at Verizon operated stores or at Verizon online.
• You will be able to select another form of payment on a per-transaction basis at the point of sale.
• When making a Verizon purchase, choose Verizon Visa Card as your payment method. You should set your Verizon Visa Card as your preferred payment method in My Verizon on our website or the My Verizon app to make sure you earn 2% in Rewards on Verizon purchases.
• If you're also a Verizon Fios customer, you can manually add the credit card to your Fios account as a preferred payment method.

Yes, if you're instantly approved at an exclusive Verizon Authorized Retailer you can use your Verizon Visa Card in the following ways:

• At the time of credit approval, you can use a Temporary Shopping Pass displayed on your device’s screen immediately. Or, print your Temporary Shopping Pass from the email sent from Synchrony Bank.

You cannot use your Verizon Visa Card anywhere other than described above until you receive your permanent card from Synchrony Bank, which should arrive in 7-10 days. Please make sure you activate your Verizon Visa Card upon arrival.

You should get your card and your credit limit information in 7-10 business days. Activate your credit card online or by calling the 800 number on the back of your card immediately to be sure your full credit limit is available to you.

Depending on which card you are approved for – Verizon Visa Card or Verizon Visa Signature Card – your card will arrive in the following manner:

The Verizon Visa Card will arrive in an 8.5 x 11-inch standard white card carrier. The card is attached to the carrier. Remove from the card from the carrier and follow the activation instructions.

The Verizon Visa Signature Card will arrive in a 7-inch x 4-inch x .75-inch box with embossed text that reads "It's for you" across the top. The card itself will be within a cardboard sleeve inside the box. Remove the card from the sleeve and follow the activation instructions.

To activate your Verizon Visa Card, visit verizonvisacard.syf.com/activate or call:

To retrieve your card from the cardboard sleeve:

1. Orient the credit card box vertically with the tear tab to your right.
2. Pull the tear tab down towards your body and then lift the lid open like a book.
3. At the top of the open box (the side farthest away from your body), locate the access hole or lift tab.
4. Using the hole, remove the cardboard sleeve from within the box.
   
   Note: The sleeve can be identified by the embossed Verizon checkmark located on the bottom left of the sleeve when the package is oriented vertically.
5. With one hand gripping the bottom of the sleeve containing the checkmark, and your other hand gripping the top portion of the sleeve, gently pull the sleeve apart.
6. Your card is inside a textured envelope.

• Depending on which card you were approved for and received:
  • Verizon Visa Card is made out of plastic and is industry standard.
  • Verizon Visa Signature Card is made out of metal and is also industry standard.
• Both card types have an embossed Verizon checkmark on the front of the card in the lower left hand corner when the card is oriented vertically with the chip farthest from your body.
• Your Verizon Visa Card number is located on the back of the card in raised print.

Your Verizon Visa Card is a contactless credit card. You will find the Contactless indicator on the back of your card.

When using your Verizon Visa Card for in-store purchases, look for the Contactless payments symbol at the checkout terminal. Hold your card 1-2 inches above the Contactless payments symbol on the checkout terminal for 1-2 seconds to complete your payment.

Your vertically oriented Verizon Visa Card includes a chip located on the front of the card towards the upper right corner.

When inserting the card into a pay terminal, make sure the card is oriented with the chip facing the ceiling and farthest away from your body.

Plus, you can tap to pay with your contactless Verizon Visa Card for in-store purchases where you see the Contactless Symbol. Learn more about Contactless Payment with Visa.

When tapping to pay, the terminal reads the antenna best when your contactless card is flat over the Contactless Symbol, versus at an angle.

When you're approved for the Verizon Visa Card you'll start earning rewards on qualifying purchases as part of the Verizon Visa Card Rewards Program.

When you use the Verizon Visa Card just as you would any other credit card, you earn a percentage of the purchase in Verizon Dollars¹:

• 4% on gas and grocery store purchases
• 3% on dining purchases, including take-out and delivery
• 2% on Verizon purchases
• 1% on all other purchases where Visa credit cards are accepted.

For example, if you spend $100 at a grocery store using your Verizon Visa Card, you automatically earn 4% in Verizon Dollars. There's no limit on the amount of Verizon Dollars you can earn for purchases.²

You can track your Verizon Dollar earnings, activity and to redeem:

Your Verizon Dollars will be available within 1-2 Verizon Visa Card billing cycles. You will see the amount of Verizon Dollars you've earned posted to your monthly credit card billing statement. You can also see how many Verizon Dollars you have available, as well as how many you earned on a daily basis, in your digital wallet, which is available through the Verizon Visa Card app, the My Verizon app, and in the Verizon Visa Card dashboard on My Verizon app or online.

Earn: Verizon Wireless Account Owners and Account Managers can apply for the Verizon Visa Card and if approved, can earn on every purchase, everywhere your Verizon Visa Card is accepted¹. Verizon Dollars² earned by any card holder on the same Verizon Visa Card account will accumulate together in your shared Verizon Dollar Bank in the Verizon Visa Card Dashboard in My Verizon app and website, and the Verizon Visa Card app.

Redeem: Verizon Wireless Account Owners or Account Managers can redeem Verizon Dollars and can claim rewards.

If your Verizon Wireless account access role changes, your access to the digital wallet of Verizon Dollars may be affected. For example, if you are no longer a Verizon Wireless Account Owner or Verizon Wireless Account Manager, you will not be permitted to access the digital wallet of Verizon Dollars, even if you are a card holder.

Verizon Wireless Account Owners or Account Managers can use Verizon Dollars to pay their Verizon Wireless bills:

• In the My Verizon app, or through My Verizon - Choose Bill from the top menu, then choose Payment options. If you have Verizon Dollars, you'll see the option to apply them to your bill
• In a Verizon Store
• Through our automated phone system by dialing #PMT from your mobile phone

Fios customers must be enrolled in the Mobile + Home Discount program to access the Verizon Up Rewards Center and to apply earned Verizon Dollars to the Verizon Fios bill.

To pay your Verizon Fios bill with your Verizon Dollars in the My Fios app or through My Verizon (Fios): Choose Bill, then Pay Bill. If you have Verizon Dollars, you see the option to apply them to your bill.

You must be signed in to your My Verizon app or My Verizon website account to access the travel site and to access your shared digital wallet. You must be the Verizon Wireless Account Owner or Account Manager, even if you are a card holder.

Once signed in, navigate to:

• My Verizon website: Go to the Verizon Visa Card dashboard. Click Use Verizon Dollars, then scroll to find the Travel tile to be taken to the Verizon Visa Card Travel website to book your travel.
• My Verizon app: Go to the Rewards Center in Verizon Up, scroll until you see the Travel tile, and click on it to be taken to the Verizon Visa Card Travel website to book your travel.

Account Owner and any Account Manager(s) can view any booked Travel Services (airlines, hotel, or rental cars) regardless of who booked such travel. Only the person who booked the Travel can cancel, change or modify.

You must be signed in to your My Verizon app or My Verizon website account to access the gift card site and to access the digital wallet. You must be the Verizon Wireless Account Owner or Account Manager, even if you are a card holder.

Once signed in, navigate to:

• My Verizon website: Go to the Verizon Visa Card dashboard. Click Use Verizon Dollars, then scroll to find the Travel tile to be taken to the Verizon Visa Card Travel website to book your travel.
• My Verizon app: Go to the Rewards Center in Verizon Up, scroll until you see the Verizon Visa Card Merchant Gift Card tile, and click on it to be taken to the website to purchase merchant gift cards.

Verizon Dollars used toward a purchase that’s later returned or exchanged will be reimbursed in the form of Verizon Dollars as long as there is an open credit card account associated with the Verizon Wireless account.

The Verizon Dollars you used for a returned product will be deposited back to your Verizon Dollar balance (e.g., if you spend $50 Verizon Dollars and then return the item, $50 Verizon Dollars will be returned to your Verizon Dollar bank).

If no credit card account exists on the Verizon Wireless account, the Verizon Dollars will be forfeited.

If you later return a purchase for which you earned Verizon Dollars, those earned Verizon Dollars will be removed from your Verizon Dollar balance.

For example, if you use your Verizon Visa Card to buy an $899.99 smartphone at a Verizon store, you earn 2% of that purchase, which would be $17.99 in Verizon Dollars. If you then return that smartphone, $17.99 Verizon Dollars will be deducted from your Verizon Dollar bank balance.

Note: Returns may result in a negative Verizon Dollar balance.

There’s no expiration on Verizon Dollars. However, forfeiture rules apply.

If you are a Verizon Visa Card holder and:

• Are a Verizon Wireless Account Owner and remove yourself from this role - Your Verizon Dollars are forfeited. Learn about Verizon Wireless account roles and management.
• Move the Verizon Wireless line of service associated with the Verizon Visa Card to a different Verizon Wireless account - The earned Verizon Dollars stay with the original Verizon Wireless account.
• Cancel your Verizon Wireless service entirely - Your Verizon Dollars are forfeited. It does not matter whether your Verizon Visa Card account remains open.

If you close your Verizon Visa Card account, be sure to spend your Verizon Dollar balance within 90 days.

Verizon Dollars can still be earned and redeemed up to 90 days after the cancellation. Any unused Verizon Dollars will be forfeited after 90 days.

If you have the right to cancel your travel reservations and get a refund, the Verizon Dollars used in the transaction will be immediately credited to your digital wallet.

Gift cards cannot be returned. All gift card purchases are final.

If you close your Verizon Visa Card account, you will have access to both the Travel and Gift Card sites for 90 days.

Should you need to change or cancel any travel bookings after the 90 days, you will not be able to access My Trips on the Travel site. You will need to call the Travel Center Schedule Change Department at 1-866-204-9145 as soon as possible for assistance. Hours are Monday-Friday, 10 AM - 7 PM ET.

Yes. After your Verizon Visa Card account is opened, you can view transactions, pay your bill and manage your credit card account through the Synchrony Bank website, Verizon Visa Card app and the Verizon Visa Card dashboard:

• The Synchrony Bank website - Just register using your card number and billing ZIP code to access your account.
• Verizon Visa Card dashboard
