Verizon will be celebrating International Women’s Day with a livestream event highlighting trailblazing women on Thursday, March 8, from 3-5 PM ET.

The livestream will include:

  • A Fireside chat with Hans Vestberg, Verizon EVP of Network and Technology and CTO, and Abby Wambach, US Soccer Team player, captain and Olympic Gold medalist.​

  • Panel discussion with Tami Erwin, Verizon Chief Operating Office, and female entrepreneurs including:​ 

    • Judy Joo – Chef Patron and owner of Jinjuu Restaurants (London and Hong Kong), TV Personality and Author

    • Courtenay Hall – Editor in Chief of women’s lifestyle magazine, BELLA Magazine

    • Morra Aarons-Mele – Founder of award-winning digital agency Women Online

    • Shannelle Armstrong-Fowler - Owner of Haute & Co. Bridal Boutique and star of new bridal series titled, “The Perfect Fit”

    • Judy Spitz – Founding Program Director of WiTNY, Women in Technology and Entrepreneurship in New York

  • Discussions with John Stratton, Verizon Executive Vice President and President of Global Operations, Rima Qureshi, Verizon Executive Vice President and Chief Strategy Officer, and Verizon’s employee resource group, WAVE, or Women Association of Verizon Employees.
