Looking for a compact tablet that’s fun for the whole family? The latest Samsung Galaxy Tab E (8.0”) is now available from Verizon and it’s perfect for families on-the-go. This powerful tablet features Multi-User Mode that enables separate logins, allowing each user to save settings and keep information private.

Your device; your settings (even if you share it)

When you lend your tablet to a friend or family member, it often comes back with different background screens, altered settings and new or missing apps. With the Samsung Galaxy Tab E (8.0”) unique user accounts option, that’s no longer an issue. Everyone who plays or works on the tablet can create an individual account with their favorite applications, tools, settings and content.

For parents, that also means you can restrict the applications your kids can access or download. With the Samsung Galaxy Tab E (8.0”), mom and dad can watch their shows on go90 and the kids can enjoy thousands of parent-approved games available on the Google Play store. If you use the Samsung Kid’s Mode available in Galaxy Essential widget, you’ll have total control over your child’s tablet experience, including age-appropriate content and games.

Featuring a crisp 8” screen and weighing less than a pound, the Samsung Galaxy Tab E is the perfect tablet to pack for a family road trip. Bundled with a Verizon data plan, your family can enjoy hours of streaming videos, follow friends and family online and upload videos and photos captured on the device’s rear- and front-facing cameras.

Under the hood

All this fun shouldn’t come at the cost of battery life. The Samsung Galaxy Tab E (8.0”) includes Ultra power saving mode that makes your battery last longer for when you need it the most. The feature turns the screen black and white and shuts down all unnecessary features to save battery life. Other key features include:

  • 8” WXGA 1280x800 resolution screen
  • 16GB of memory [add up to 128GB with a microSD card (portion of 16GB occupied by existing content)]
  • 5 megapixel rear camera and 2 megapixel front camera
  • 1.3GHz Quad Core processor with Android Lollipop
  • 5000 mAH battery for up to 21 hours of use
  • Multi-window lets users view full, split or pop-up windows within compatible apps with just a swipe
