Bell Atlantic NYNEX Mobile Introduces Intellivoice Voice
Activated Dialing to New Markets

ATLANTA, GA -- Intellivoice Communications is pleased
to announce that Bell Atlantic NYNEX Mobile has extended its roll-out of
the Intellivoice EasyDial(TM) Voice Activated Dialing system to the
Pittsburgh, PA, Greenville/Spartenburg/Columbia, SC, and
Charlotte/Hickory, NC markets.

Marketed under the service mark TalkDial(SM), the new option provides a
safe, accurate, simple, and convenient means to dial calls simply by
speaking the number or by speaking a name stored in the caller's personal
dialing directory.

"TalkDial gives our customers the convenience and added safety of being
able to dial a phone number simply by speaking," says Jim Akerhielm,
regional vice president for Bell Atlantic NYNEX Mobile's Southeast
Region. "Now, customers can easily and conveniently conduct their
business and personal matters without having to manually dial each phone
number into the keypad."

Caroline Roberts, company product manager of TalkDial for the Southeast
region said that the main benefit to the motorist "...is that it's
hands-free. And it's fun!"

The proprietary Intellivoice EasyDial technology supports a broad range
of regional accents with a high level of accuracy across a base of over
3.5 million potential Bell Atlantic NYNEX Mobile subscribers.

TalkDial is now available in five of the six Bell Atlantic NYNEX Mobile
regions covering major cities across the Eastern United States including
Boston, Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, Washington DC/Baltimore, and
Greenville/Spartenburg. New York, the last major region, is slated to go
on-line with the service later this year.
