Outing Designed to Teach Students Restaurant
Management

What:

    William Freeman, president and CEO of Bell Atlantic -
    Washington, D.C. and approximately 20 eight and
    nine-year-old students will storm Planet Hollywood to
    eat lunch and learn the day-to-day responsibilities of
    running a restaurant.

    For the past several months, Freeman has been talking
    to students about city planning, economic development
    and restaurant management as a volunteer instructor
    for Junior Achievement's "Our City" program.
    Junior
    achievement, the largest partnership linking business
    with education throughout the Washington metropolitan
    area, strives to inspire and educate young people to
    value free enterprise, understand business and
    economics and develop other skills needed to enter the
    work force. Planet Hollywood will serve free lunches
    to the group in support of the program.
