New Pricing Options for
Bell Atlantic NYNEX Mobile Customers
In Washington/Baltimore

SILVER SPRING, Md. -- Starting tomorrow, the cost of
staying in touch
will be more affordable and more predictable. Bell Atlantic NYNEX
Mobile, the largest cellular phone company on the East Coast, is
unveiling new airtime packages designed to simplify the
decision-making process by offering easy-to-understand, economical
cellular calling plans for new customers in the Washington/Baltimore
area.

All the new plans come with airtime allowances, and the "home"
coverage area has been expanded to 19,000 square miles from Frederick,
Md., to Fredericksburg, Va., and from Maryland's Eastern Shore to
Front Royal, Va. The new plans are available on a monthly or annual
subscription, and every customer can use their phone anywhere in the
U.S.

"While everyone is value conscious, one cellular plan doesn't fit
all," says Gary Schulman, president of Bell Atlantic NYNEX Mobile's
Washington/Baltimore region. "These new pricing options fit the
specific needs of each type of user, from the consumer who uses a
cellular phone occasionally -- all the way through the businessperson
who spends practically every waking moment on the go."

The new calling packages range from TalkAlong Plus20, at $19.99 a
month which includes a 20-minute airtime allowance, to TalkAdvantage
1800, a calling package which includes an 1800-minute airtime
allowance for $199.99.

For those traveling beyond their home region, calls are 59 cents a
minute in any other Bell Atlantic NYNEX Mobile market from Maine to
the Carolinas. Calls made from other areas in the country are just 99
cents a minute, with no additional roaming charges.

In addition, the company still offers its lowest access service,
TalkAlong, a zoned cellular service
from $14.99 a month.
