RadioShack and Bell Atlantic Mobile
have agreed to provide cellular service to RadioShack customers in the
Philadelphia metropolitan area. Already one of the largest providers of
wireless service in the Delaware Valley, Bell Atlantic Mobile now has
more than 425 outlets in the area where customers can purchase its products
The agreement increases RadiosShack's current business relationship
with Bell Atlantic Mobile by nearly 30% in the Northeast. To date, Bell
Atlantic Mobile cellular service has been available in 518 Radio Shack
stores, primarily in New England and the New York metropolitan area. The
Philadelphia area adds 174 stores, bringing the total number of Radio
Shack stores offering Bell Atlantic Mobile service to 692 nationally.

Philadelphia area enhances a strong business alliance that has been extremely

the Philadelphia, Southern New Jersey and Delaware area will offer Bell
Atlantic Mobile's popular Digital Choice SingleRate (sm), bundled, flat-rate
national and regional price plans with no roaming charges or long distance
charges on calls to anywhere in the U.S.
