Verizon adds truTV HD to Fios TV channel lineup

The truTV HD channel is available to all Fios TV customers. And truTV programming can be found on Fios TV Channels 683 in HD and 183 in SD. The channel is your home for fresh and unexpected comedy programming with such popular original series as “Impractical Jokers,” “The Carbonaro Effect” and “Adam Ruins Everything.” But that's not all.

In the past, truTV has been a partner in airing games from the early rounds of the NCAA Division I Men's Basketball Championship, along with TBS, TNT and CBS. In fact, truTV has been the exclusive broadcaster of the First Four, a series of play-in games that kicks off the tournament. 

"High definition and sports programming are important to our Fios TV customers, and we're excited to deliver both with the launch of truTV HD," said Terry Denson, vice president of content strategy and acquisition for Verizon. "Basketball fans can get their fill of high-def games on Fios TV. Plus, our customers can enjoy all of the other great programming offered by truTV in HD, SD and online with Fios TV Online."

Verizon customers also have online access to truTV programming through Fios TV Online, available to Fios TV subscribers by signing in to tv.verizon.com or www.trutv.com with their Verizon Online user names and passwords. Fios TV customers are able to watch their favorite truTV shows on their personal computers or laptops - at home or away - using any broadband connection.

The truTV network joins Fios TV’s broad collection of programming, which offers more than 625 all-digital channels including over 250 HD channels and 120,000+ monthly video-on-demand titles. Fios also provides next-generation interactive services including an advanced interactive media guide; social networking, news and entertainment widgets; remote DVR management via broadband or cell phone; and more.
 

Stream truTV online free with Fios TV subscription

There are two ways to stream truTV with your Verizon Fios TV service for no extra charge:
  1. Access through the Fios Mobile app and online at tv.verizon.com. Simply select Verizon Fios as your TV provider and sign in with your Verizon user ID and password. Then – at home or away – you’ll be able to stream TruTV programs on your choice of device using any broadband connection.
  2. You can also stream via the Fios Mobile app, which is available for both Android and iOS devices.
