Verizon Named to 2011 List of 'Most Valuable Employers for Military'

Verizon's commitment to employing active and retired members of the U.S. military has been recognized by CivilianJobs.com, an online organization that helps companies recruit employees who have military experience. CivilianJobs.com recently named Verizon to the organization's annual list of Most Valuable Employers (MVE) for Military.

"Military and veteran employees have proven to be extremely focused, quick learning and adaptive leaders in our organization," said Magda Yrizarry, vice president - talent management and diversity for Verizon.
