Verizon Wireless Joins Forces With 7-Eleven ® Stores Just In Time For Holidays

Verizon Wireless Prepay Customers Can Replenish Cards At Nation's Largest Convenience Store

Just in time for last-minute shopping, Verizon Wireless and 7-Eleven, Inc. announced an agreement making replenishment cards for Verizon Wireless' popular Prepay service available in the convenience chain's participating 5,200 locations nationwide.

The company's Prepay service makes giving the gift of wireless easy because the shopper simply chooses the amount they want to spend; and by paying in advance for wireless calling there is no long-term commitment.

Participating 7-Eleven stores now carry replenishment cards for Verizon Wireless' Local Prepay service, as well as its popular National Prepay service- which boasts no long distance charges and no roaming fees throughout most of the company's national network. The National Prepay cards come in denominations ranging from $30 for 60 airtime minutes, to $150 for 750 minutes.

"7-Eleven stores provide the ultimate in convenience. By selling our prepay replenishment cards in their stores across the country, consumers have a familiar place to regularly "fill-up" on additional wireless calling minutes," said Jeff Tennery, vice-president of national indirect sales for Verizon Wireless.
