Verizon Wireless Opens First Store in Hamilton County

Donation to Chaucie's Place to Mark Opening

In an effort to provide customers with more convenience and flexible service, Verizon Wireless, the nation's largest wireless communications provider, has opened a new store at Village Park Plaza, 1950-17 E. Greyhound Pass.

"Our new location makes it easier to do business with Verizon
Wireless if you live in the

Carmel, Westfield and Noblesville areas or travel US 31," said Wayne
White, Region President for

Indiana, Michigan and Kentucky. "Our customer base is rapidly expanding in
the area and our new

location provides our customers with increased convenience and accessibility
to our products and

services."

Located in the Village Park Plaza at 146th and Meridian, the new store
brings the total number of

Verizon Wireless stores and kiosks in Indiana to 28. Other Verizon Wireless
Communications Stores

opening in December are located at Circle Centre Mall in downtown
Indianapolis and Westpoint

Commons in Avon.

To mark the grand opening of its new store, Verizon Wireless' region
president will present a

contribution to Rita Johnson, director of Chaucie's Place, a child advocacy
center, at formal opening

ceremonies at 9 a.m., Thursday, December 13. Verizon Wireless is a national
leader in providing

support to victims of domestic violence.

In addition to the donation, Verizon Wireless will celebrate the
opening of its new

communications store with a ceremonial "wire-cutting" and reception from 9 -
10 a.m. Several

prominent elected officials and community representatives will be in
attendance.

The new Verizon Wireless Communications Store features a variety of products
and

services, including local, region and national plans, and a premier line of
wireless phones and

accessories. Several special offers are available during December,
including discounts on safety

products. The staff of trained professionals at the Verizon Wireless store
can assist

customers in selecting equipment and making decisions on calling

plans.

The Verizon Wireless store is open Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m.
- 6:00 p.m.; Saturday, 10:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.; and Sunday, 1:00 - 5:00 p.m.
