For our impacted customers in qualified areas in Tennessee, Verizon Wireless has your back. We know wireless communication is essential to stay in touch with loved ones, contact emergency resources and help with recovery efforts related to a tragedy like the wildfires devastating the Great Smoky Mountains. So from 11/28-12/3, Verizon will take care of any charges from talk, text and data over your regular plans. The following are zip codes of qualifying areas: Gatlinburg 37738, Kodak 37764, Sevierville 37862 37876, Pigeon Forge 37863 and 37868, and Seymour 37865.
We are also supporting the Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge communities by deploying mobile cellular equipment to supplement service in this area and have deployed charging stations for use by first responders as well as residents and visitors displaced in shelters.
