Verizon Enterprise Solutions (Booth #3001 North Expo Hall) will once again exhibit at the annual RSA Conference, the premiere information security tradeshow that attracts more than 30,000 security experts, from Feb. 29 to March 3 at the Moscone Center in San Francisco.

Verizon security experts will be on hand to showcase the company’s cybersecurity capabilities including its Cyber Risk Programs, Network Threat Advanced Analytics, and DDoS services that enable enterprises around the globe to identify and analyze risk to help prevent security incidents. Booth visitors also will be able to experience Verizon’s new global threat map depicting cyberthreats around the globe.

“The fact that Verizon manages one of the world’s largest global networks and has unparalleled analytics and data gives us a differentiating advantage in delivering intelligence-based cybersecurity programs,” said Chris Yousey, executive director of managed services for Verizon Enterprise Solutions. “This event is a unique opportunity to share our insights with enterprise and government clients and to better understand their challenges and work with them to further develop their roadmaps so they can stay ahead of the rapidly evolving cyber landscape.”

Along with daily in-booth presentations on various infosec-related topics ranging from denial of service attacks to Advanced Persistent Threat Defense, Verizon’s John Grim will present Data breach digest: Scenarios from the field on March 1 from 3:30 to 4:00pm in the North Expo Hall. The presentation will explore the 'inner workings' of a breach including intrusion vectors, threat actions and targeted vulnerabilities as well as prescribe the best tactics  for prevention, mitigation and response. Several in-booth panels will occur during the event including a Tech Women Panel on March 1 at 10 a.m. and a Millennial Panel on March 2 at 1 p.m. local time. Visitors to the booth will also have the opportunity to experience:

  • DBIR App for Splunk - learn how Verizon leads in the application of cyber intelligence and see examples from Data Breach Investigation Report (DBIR) findings of incident collection, detection, data analysis and threat detection visualization.
  • DDoS Shield – launching in late March, simulates a mitigation of an attack of inbound and outbound traffic across the Verizon global IP backbone and offers customers a game changing entry into a cloud-based anti-DDoS approach.
  • Unified Security Services - protects the customer’s network edge from security threats.
  • Managed Security Services - Analytics - is Verizon’s newest threat intelligence and data correlation capability.
  • Network Threat Advanced Analytics - provides insight using data analyzed across the Verizon backbone to give users additional visibility that’s provided in a unique, actionable and intuitive summary format.
  • Cyber Risk Programs (report) – Uses our evidence-based data that captures more than 70 different contributing organizations, 11 years of data and over 190,000 incidents analyzed in 2014 that explains the importance of understanding and measuring visualized data sets.
