WASHINGTON D.C.The following statement may be attributed to Kathy Grillo, Verizon Senior Vice President & Deputy General Counsel, Public Policy & Government Affairs:

“The Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP) is keeping millions of low-income and struggling American families connected to the internet. With funding for this essential program due to run out in the next few months, it is imperative that Congress provides bridge funding while they work to implement a long-term solution. We thank U.S. Senators Welch and Vance, Rosen and Cramer, and U.S. Representatives Clarke and Fitzpatrick, for their introduction of bipartisan, bicameral legislation that will ensure this critically important program does not abruptly end for the nearly 23 million households relying on it. We look forward to working with Congress to find a sustainable solution. It's essential that we work together to keep low-income families in rural and urban America connected to the internet.”
