Verizon Wireless Opens New 'Store-Within-A-Store' At BJ's Wholesale Club In Greece, New York

ROCHESTER, NY — Verizon Wireless has expanded its local retail presence with the addition of a new store in the BJ's Wholesale Club in Greece, New York. The new store is located in the BJ's location at 300 Bellwood Drive. The "store-within-a-store" concept provides BJ's customers with easy access to the latest wireless phones, devices and accessories, plus a variety of service plans on the nation's most reliable wireless network.

The new Greece store joins 20 other Verizon Wireless kiosks that have opened in BJ's locations throughout Upstate New York. The new kiosk will create five new retail sales and management jobs locally.

The new Greece Verizon Wireless store in BJ's Wholesale Club is open Monday through Saturday from 9 am to 9 pm, and on Sunday from 10 am to 7 pm.

"Our new BJ's location is an important part of our effort to meet our customers where they shop. By placing Verizon Wireless employees in BJ's locations, customers get added convenience and assistance from the best wireless salespeople in the industry."

BJ's members will be able to take advantage of the same convenient services available at Verizon Wireless Communications Stores, including account look-up and bill payments. Verizon Wireless will be responsible for the operation and maintenance of the BJ's kiosk, including hiring, inventory, displays and any interior or exterior signage. BJ's members can expect the same high-quality products and services they would receive in a standalone Verizon Wireless Communications Store.

Strong demand for Verizon Wireless services continued during the third quarter of 2006 as the company added 1.9 million net new customers. Verizon Wireless is the leader in wireless customer loyalty, posting a record-breaking low customer turnover rate of 1.2% in the third quarter, well below the rate reported by the other major wireless carriers.
