Each year, your Verizon Fios TV team works with content owners and programmers to continue delivering the best programming on Fios TV with access to over 690 channels of content in our daily line-ups. The agreements we negotiate with these companies enhance your viewing experience, with everything from the nightly lineup to our on-demand library with over 170,000 titles, live streaming, services for vision-impaired customers, Fios Mobile app so you can watch around or outside your home.

Why this happens
Why this happens

All cable and satellite TV providers enter into agreements with programmers for the right to carry their content. These contracts can vary in length, but typically run for a number of years. When contracts expire, it’s not unusual for programmers to try to renegotiate their agreements at a higher price, and we understand that. Sometimes we can negotiate other facets of an agreement to help hold the increases to a minimum, but that is becoming increasingly difficult. Rest assured that we will not agree to rate increases that are exorbitant and unfair to our customers or inconsistent with the rest of the industry.

Putting customers first

Verizon works hard on behalf of our Fios TV customers to deliver the best TV service; with the programming you have come to expect at a reasonable price. We don’t want to increase customers’ rates due to unfair price increases from programming partners, and we’ll work tirelessly to ensure that does not happen.
