Follow Clint Johnston of TripHackr LIVE as he explores rural Alaska
Clint Johnston has visited more than 100 countries, and now he’s officially visited all 50 US states, as he touched down in Alaska earlier this week.
““The next ten days will be full of adventures that I’ve wanted to cross off my bucket list – hiking on a glacier especially, says Clint. “I’ve also never seen a bear in the wild, so I’m looking forward to that adventure – from a distance of course.”
At his first stop in Girdwood, Clint rode the famed Alyeska Aerial Tram to the top of Mt. Alyeska – 2,300 feet above elevation. In the summer months, moose and bear sightings are common along the way to the summit. Next, Clint is traveling by ferry from Whittier to Valdez for a day-long glacier cruise. On his Triphackr blog, Clint provides more details on his trip – and be sure to follow his journey on social.
Clint is sharing videos, photos and tips utilizing the 4G LTE networks of Verizon, Copper Valley Telecom and the Matanuska Telephone Association in Alaska.
