A dynamic part of the mobile industry is the thousands of application and mobile website developers, along with the marketing professionals, who embrace the mobile platform as a rising component of technology and how people access information in their daily lives. In Minnesota, Mobile Twin Cities is an organization that facilitates the exchange of information about software design, mobile platforms, and mobile marketing. The group produces the Mobile March conference to showcase mobile development and feature new trends of mobile usage among businesses and consumers. Verizon is a sponsor of the event and has met many mobile developers and marketers while participating with the group.
This relationship has led to a variety of benefits from product reviews to developers using devices to beta test applications. The end result is an exchange of information that leads to mobile innovation. This synergistic relationship also helps keep pace with technology, change and mobile usage.
Mobile Twin Cities, founded by Justin Grammens, is active on Twitter (@MobileTC) and LinkedIn. Phil Wilson, who is interviewed in the video below, is one of the organizers of the annual Mobile March conference. Verizon has been proud to have our representatives speak at a number of Mobile Twin Cities events, including conferences and monthly meetings.
