Relationship Provides Corporate Customers with Quality, Affordable Internet Services COLUMBUS, Ohio and FAIRFAX, Va., September 14, 1998 -- SARCOM, Inc., one of the largest resellers in the U.S., and UUNET Technologies, Inc., a global leader in Internet communications solutions and a subsidiary of WorldCom, Inc., today announced a relationship to offer UUNET's complete line of Internet access services to SARCOM's corporate customers. The partnership blends SARCOM's strength in delivering professional services and consultation with UUNET's world-class Internet backbone services.

The SARCOM/UUNET relationship is part of larger initiatives at both companies to provide corporate customers with turnkey Internet solutions. In a related announcement today, UUNET unveiled a program with Intel to provide integrated hardware and Internet service solution to resellers, including SARCOM.

This agreement is one of several key relationships and the only ISP relationship that SARCOM has established to strengthen its rapidly growing Internet services practice. These relationships include Intel, Microsoft, Cisco Systems and Bay Networks.
