Open enrollment starts for U.S. employees.

Starting today, U.S. management employees can now choose their benefits plan for 2020. If you need a quick and easy refresher on how to choose a plan, check out our Benefits Mythbusters 101 where Kacie and Andy go back to class to learn the differences between benefits plans. Mobile World Congress Americas kicks off in Los Angeles.

Mobile World Congress Americas comes to the Los Angeles Convention Center for three days of presentations on cutting-edge technology and connectivity. We’ll highlight our 5G network with an interactive booth to show how it can transform the workplace, and an augmented reality vision platform that helps firefighters on emergency calls. Tami Erwin will be giving a keynote speech at MWC19 this Wednesday at 12:30 PM ET/9:30 AM PT. Read more about Verizon at MWC19 and tune in for the livestream of Tami’s speech.

Event focus on Domestic Violence Awareness.

Last week, we hosted a webcast to raise awareness of domestic violence and how to prevent it. The webcast replay is available on VZWeb. 

5G coming to major U.S. arenas.

As the basketball and hockey seasons get under way, fans are going to have something new to look forward to at their favorite arenas: the power of 5G. This weekend, Verizon announced 5G Ultra Wideband is now available at San Francisco’s Chase Center (home of the Golden State Warriors), Denver’s Pepsi Center (Colorado Avalanche and Denver Nuggets), Phoenix’s Talking Stick Resort Arena (Phoenix Suns). Verizon has plans to bring 5G to 10 arenas by the end of the 2019-2020, including Madison Square Garden in NYC. You can read more about the big announcement right here.
