How Verizon is supporting Alabama.
We’re donating $100K to relief efforts and customers can now text to donate to show their support.
Verizon teams have been working around the clock ensuring network quality for the community and first responders, even providing extra equipment to law enforcement and volunteer relief organizations on-site. We’ve also announced $100,000 in donations to relief efforts on the ground.
Verizon customers can use their mobile phones to make a $10 donation to the American Red Cross, for tornado relief in Alabama by simply texting REDCROSS to 90999, and can donate up to ten times, for a total of $100.
