UUNET, an MCI Worldcom company, to host Chancellor's Pre-budget Roadshow

UUNET, 330 Science Park, Cambridge, CB4 OBZ The Chancellor Gordon Brown and Minister for E-Commerce Patricia Hewitt will be holding a Pre-Budget Roadshow in Cambridge to discuss the Government's agenda to improve productivity in the UK. The Chancellor will also officially open UUNET's new building which will double its presence on the Science Park, creating a further 350 jobs over the next 12 months.

The roadshow will concentrate on the subject of innovation including e-commerce, clusters, encouraging the commercialisation of science and the R&D Tax Credit1. (http://www.hm-treasury.gov.uk).
