UUNET Wins InfoVision Award For Preferred Access DSL Service

FAIRFAX, Va., October 5, 1998-UUNET WorldCom, a global leader in Internet communications solutions, today announced it was awarded the International Engineering Consortium's (IEC) InfoVision Award for its Preferred Access DSL services. The award winners are recognized for originality, innovation, uniqueness, market impact, customer benefit and value to society. The InfoVision Awards Committee is comprised of corporate executives, journal editors and university faculty.
