Verizon Appoints Alfonso Correale as Group Sales Manager for the Southern Region

Verizon has appointed Alfonso Correale to the role of group sales manager of enterprise sales for the company’s Southern European operations (Italy and Spain). Alfonso takes on responsibility for driving Verizon’s business success across the region with a specific focus on developing business with locally-headquartered multinational organizations.

Alfonso replaces Massimo Peselli, who has been promoted to the role of group vice president of sales for Verizon Enterprise Solutions in the Western region of the U.S..

"Verizon’s global reach and extensive solutions portfolio offers a key business differentiator for multinational organizations. Alfonso has the experience and expertise to help our customers realize the benefits of our assets to support their own business success around the globe."

Alfonso has more than 14 years of experience in the telecommunications industry. He joined Verizon (then MCI Worldcom) in 1999 as a channel development manager, and has since held various sales positions within the company. He previously worked within the automotive and utilities industries.

Alfonso holds a Bachelor of Engineering and Business from the Technical University of Milan. He is also fluent in English and German.
