Verizon Appoints Pieter Holst as Area Vice President for the Benelux Region

Verizon has appointed Pieter Holst as area vice president of enterprise sales for the company's operations across the Benelux region -- Belgium, Luxembourg and the Netherlands. Holst takes on the responsibility for driving Verizon's business success within this key region, specifically focusing on the individual requirements of the regionally headquartered multinationals.

Rich Montgomery, Verizon's EMEA group vice president comments: "Pieter has extensive regional experience that will play an important role for Verizon in spearheading our operations across the Benelux region. Verizon's global reach and extensive solutions portfolio offer a key business differentiator for our European-based businesses. Holst has over 18 years of experience within the IT and communications industries. He has been an employee of Verizon since 2011, holding various sales roles within the Benelux region. Prior to this he held international management positions at Avaya, Colt Telecom BV, Draka and IBM.

Holst holds a bachelor's degree in economics from Hogeschool Den Haag, and is fluent in Dutch, English, French and Spanish.
