HiMSS13 - the premier healthcare tradeshow that attracted over 40,000 healthcare IT professionals - is officially over and Verizon’s footprint was felt, loud and clear, throughout the event.
Verizon had two booths (#5613 & #5405) in the main expo center that served as the main platform to discuss, with its customers and prospects, next-generation communication technology solutions for today’s healthcare challenges.
Verizon had several kiosks in the Inter-Operability Showcase. One of which, was a destination to discuss ICSA Lab’s testing business and how it’s assuring its healthcare customers that the services they provide to their customers adheres to industry-grade reliability and interoperability standards set by the industry. Apart from the multiple kiosks in the Inter-Operability showcase, there was a separate area in the Meaningful Use pavilion whose main purpose was to address how ICSA Labs is supporting connected care in the industry. Verizon also showcased in the New Solutions Pavilion its Healthcare Enabled Services - these are cloud-based solutions that securely store protected health information (PHI) and give patients better access to the care from virtually anywhere.
Along with its diverse presence at the tradeshow, Verizon had six speaking engagements - providing thought leadership on key healthcare industry topics and issues ranging from ‘Mobility in Healthcare’ to ‘Interoperability’.
Verizon’s sending a clear message to the healthcare market – Verizon provides powerful answers to healthcare’s biggest challenges.
