BASKING RIDGE, N.J. - Verizon Business' innovative customer self-service portal and billing practices have been recognized with the Best Business Process Automation Excellence Award.
The annual award, presented last week at the Billing & OSS World Conference & Expo in Washington, D.C., recognizes "significantly improved fulfillment, remittance, compensation, technical support or other business processes that increase a service provider's ability to compete." Verizon Business won the award for the leading self-service capabilities demonstrated by its Verizon Enterprise Center customer portal.
"We evaluated a number of different solutions and found the Verizon Enterprise Center to be the most effective at automating and improving business processes that are now setting the industry standard for the best customer-friendly approaches for repair, billing, network operations and dashboard capabilities," said Tim McElligott, editor-in-chief of Billing & OSS World.

Available round-the-clock, the Verizon Enterprise Center provides business customers with the ability to securely check the status of their orders, review and pay bills, request new services, and monitor their network service performance. Last year, Verizon introduced Verizon Enterprise Center Mobile, which enables customers to receive and access information in near real-time on a mobile device. Only a wireless Internet connection and a mobile Web browser are required.
