Verizon Security, Smart Grid Experts to Present at Homeland Security for Networked Industries Conference Sept. 20-21
BASKING RIDGE, N.J. - Global security expert Peter Tippett, vice president technology and innovation for Verizon Business, will be among the featured speakers at the Homeland Security for Networked Industries Conference in Washington, D.C., Sept. 20-21.
WHAT:
Tippett's keynote speech will highlight how Verizon is helping improve security of the nation's business and government infrastructure, along with key findings from Verizon's 2010 "Data Breach Investigations Report." The report, made possible under a first-of-its-kind collaboration with the U.S. Secret Service, provides an unprecedented view into data breaches and the state of cybercrime.
Other sessions throughout the two-day conference will also feature Verizon experts.

BACKGROUND:
