Popular family life blogger Darcie Gust of GustGab.com traveled to Lake Buena Vista, Florida, to take in all the sights and sounds of Disney World with her husband and two children in January. While Darcie is the type of mom who loves to document all of her family's milestones and daily activities with photos, she was looking for something extra special to use on this trip beyond her Verizon DROID. To capture all of the memories and fun on the trip in 8 megapixel clarity, Darcie took the Windows Phone 8X by HTC.

We asked Darcie for three tips on how to capture all of the magic and excitement at Disney World using a camera like the Windows Phone 8X:

  1. If you are going to be waiting an hour in line for one minute with a Disney character, have your camera ready ahead of time in order to take rapid-fire photos.
  2. Consider cloud service for your pictures. Microsoft’s SkyDrive is an excellent cloud service and using instant upload from your device means you won't lose any pictures!
  3. Windows 8 live tiles can be customized for the vacation-specific information you need at your fingertips.
