Verizon Wireless launched its 4G LTE network in Lexington, KY today and celebrated by giving out 4G chocolate bars to the first 50 visitors at its Hamburg and Nicholasville Road stores. Two of the candy bars at each location had a “golden ticket” inside. The four lucky customers who received golden tickets each won a Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 with 4G LTE.

Lexingtonian Chris Shafer (left), a network administrator for a local healthcare company, was the first lucky winner at this morning’s 4G LTE launch at the Hamburg store in Lexington. Store Manager Tim Smith (right) awarded Chris with a Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1.

Lexingtonian Clifford West (left) a local student at Bluegrass Community & Technical College, was excited to unwrap the second golden ticket this morning at the Hamburg store in Lexington. Clifford went home with a brand new Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1.

Lexington resident and dental hygienist Adrianne Hamans (right) was the lucky winner of a Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 at the Nicholasville Road Verizon Wireless in Lexington. Store Manager Lesli Daughetee is on the left.
