A few months ago, a friend of mine from Verizon Wireless saw some tweets I posted about how much I hate typing on the iPad screen. He offered to send me a Bluetooth keyboard case to use in exchange for some honest feedback. Of course, I jumped at the opportunity.
A couple days later, a package arrived with a ZAGGkeys PROfolio inside. One look, and I knew I was going to love it. I've tried Bluetooth keyboards for my iPad before, but they've always left a little too much to be desired. For example, I bought one for my wife that's separate from the iPad. The problem with that is you have to carry two devices because they don't integrate. That's not ideal.
The ZAGGkeys PROfolio serves two purposes; it's both an iPad keyboard and a case. I've tried one other keyboard case before, and this one from ZAGG was different. It was a perfect fit for my iPad 2 and built for the kind of wear and tear that comes with daily use at home, the office and on the road.
After using it for about a week, I sent it back with the knowledge that I would have to buy one! Of course, I also used it as a good excuse to buy the new iPad Air so I could get the super sturdy new ZAGGkeys Folio with Backlit Keyboard. It's the best Bluetooth keyboard I've ever owned for an iPad. The keyboard is a little smaller than the one on my MacBook Pro, but not so small that I have any trouble typing. I can also use it in the dark because the keyboard is backlit, and the battery lasts almost two months without a charge, even with daily use.
The verdict? I highly recommend ZAGG's Bluetooth iPad keyboard cases, and I'm confident I'll get many years of reliable use from mine.
