Keeping our eye on the goal

By: Verizon Up To Speed

During Super Bowl LIII or the search for a missing child in the woods, our goal is to keep everyone connected.

Tony McNary caught up with our Atlanta area Network team to see just how we’re prepared for the big event — Super Bowl LIII.

And we’ve got a great story about how the work we do really matters. Did you hear about the three-year-old North Carolina boy who was lost in the woods for a few days and says he was protected by a bear? When the Craven County Sheriff office needed help with communications during the search, Verizon deployed a SPOT (Satellite Pico Cell on Trailer) and the call that led to the boy being rescued was delivered over our Verizon SPOT. Meet the guys from the Network team who volunteered to make sure it got delivered.

It’s all on today’s Up To Speed, the best place for everything happening around and inside Verizon.
