Throughout the month of June we’re celebrating Pride Month through employees’ personal stories, real conversations around inclusion, and events.
This year’s theme is: “All of Us. Connected by Pride.” We are all different and yet we understand and connect with one another. And by creating a more inclusive environment, we are able to bring our whole selves to work.
We hosted a webcast to hear the stories of our LGBTQ V Teamers and allies. The event included:
- Craig Silliman, GLOBE sponsor, discussed Verizon's commitment to inclusion
- Diego Scotti talked about our new marketing campaign
- We had engaging discussions about coming out, challenges faced, the importance of feeling included and bringing your whole self to work
- A fireside chat with Brian Bond, Executive Director of PFLAG
