iPhone 11 wish winners announced.

Now that the iPhone 11 has officially been released, we’re excited to announce our contest winners. We asked you to make a wish and tell us why you should win the new iPhone 11. After going through tons of comments online and on @vzuptospeed social media, it was hard to pick just five winners. But a few stood out from the crowd. Congratulations to Tammy Hartman, Jen Courier, Melvin Williams, Daniel Beall, and Nick Easter.

Verizon Media offers voter info and resources for 2020.

Verizon Media and its partners are launching an “Election 2020” hub that will offer resources and information leading up to the presidential election. Yahoo News, HuffPost, Yahoo Finance, and TechCrunch will all contribute to the hub with the goal of helping everyone to become more active, involved, and informed during the voting process. The hub will also host a huge nonpartisan voter registration initiative, in partnership with TurboVote, aiming to get as many people as possible registered to vote.

5G delivers at TV’s biggest awards show.

When viewers across the country tuned in last night to see actors and directors walk the red carpet during TV’s biggest night, they did so thanks to Verizon 5G. Verizon’s 5G Ultra Wideband service powered the broadband internet access for the media company that broadcasted the event. From schedule management to communications, the show could not go on without Verizon 5G. As Tami Erwin, CEO of Verizon Business Group, put it: “5G built right is ready for the spotlight.”
