A San Jose groundbreaking

On Wednesday, Verizon Media had a groundbreaking ceremony at their new Coleman Highline campus in San Jose, CA. The campus will become the new California hub for Media, replacing the Sunnyvale campus, and will house 3,400 employees. It will be completed in 2020.

Yahoo Sports gaming partnership

Yahoo Sports announced a joint venture between global gaming industry leaders MGM Resorts and GVC Holdings to power sports betting for Yahoo Sports and create collaborative content experiences and live events. The venture will launch in November on the Yahoo App and feature a variety of sports.

U.S. Department of Defense partnership

Verizon has announced a partnership with the U.S. Department of Defense to provide servicemembers with streaming content while overseas. As part of our continued commitment to military members and their families, the Verizon Media Platform will partner with The Defense Media Activity and will leverage opportunities to entertain and inform servicemember families with high-quality content.

Supporting those impacted by California fires

Employees run and groom for VtoV

The California fires continue to burn and we're not even through with hurricane season yet. The VtoV fund is there when V Teamers need it most and some of our employees are finding creative ways to contribute:

• A cross-business team is running a whopping 200 miles, from Chattanooga to Nashville, in this year's Ragnar Relay, with all funds raised going to VtoV.
• V Teamers in Consumer Value-Based Marketing will be growing mustaches for the next 50 days and all of the money they raise will go to benefit the VtoV fund.

Breast Cancer Awareness

In the spirit of honoring Breast Cancer Awareness month, Todd Loccisano’s organization wore pink and created certificates to honor breast cancer survivors and those who are still fighting.

One Young World

Young leaders from around the world attended the One Young World conference in London where Ronan discussed the importance of developing and understanding new tech. The annual conference is an opportunity for young leaders to experience an event-packed summit to develop their commitment to bring change to their communities.
