All-Star guard D’Angelo Russell can’t wait for the enhanced fan experience.

D’Angelo Russell is known for putting on a great show, but the young star is sure the best is yet to come.

That’s because Russell and his Warrior teammates play in San Francisco’s Chase Arena, a brand new facility equipped with all of the latest tech and Verizon’s 5G ultra wideband network.

The massive capacity and blazingly fast download speeds of 5G will allow thousands of fans to simultaneously enjoy a more immersive in-game experience, with offerings that could include the ability to watch plays from multiple angles or play defense alongside their favorite NBA stars via virtual reality.

You might call arenas equipped with 5G a "slam dunk" - or you might not - but either way it looks like it's going to be a lot of fun.
