Samsung Galaxy Note8 - Turn Screen Rotation On / Off

Here's how to fix it the display on your Galaxy Note8 if it doesn't flip or rotate.
  1. Swipe down on the
    Status bar
     (at the top).
    The image below is an example.
    Notifications screen
  2. Swipe down from the top of the display to expand the quick settings menu.
  3. Tap
    Auto rotate
     or
    Portrait
    .
    When 'Auto rotate' is selected, the icon is blue. When 'Portrait' is selected, the icon is gray.
    Screen rotation displays content in landscape (horizontal) or portrait (vertical) and isn't available for all apps. Simply turn the device to change the view.
