Apple Watch - Dual SIM with an eSIM - Switch Between Plans

Here's info on how to switch between the cellular plans used on your dual SIM capable iPhone from your Apple Watch.

Only 1 Verizon mobile number can be activated on an Apple Watch® at a time.

You can have 1 Verizon mobile number and 1 from another carrier activated; however, they can't be used simultaneously.

For instructions on switching between mobile numbers, refer to Switch Between Plans.

Before completing the steps below, ensure:

Your watch is set up with one of the following Apple® iPhone® XS later running iOS 12.1 or later.

You have a cellular plan set up on both your physical SIM and eSIM.

For info on adding a cellular plan to your eSIM, refer to Add Cellular Plan.

On the connected iPhone, open the

Watch app

Navigate:

My Watch

Cellular

Tap the plan you want to use (e.g., Primary, Secondary, (555) 555-5555, etc.).

To switch plans directly from your watch, navigate:

Settings

Cellular

then choose the plan you want to use.
