Sonim XP8 - Turn NFC On / Off

Here's how to turn NFC on or off so compatible apps can transfer files from your Sonim XP8.
If you need to turn Near Field Communication (NFC) for your Sonim XP8® on or off, which allows NFC-based apps (e.g., Android Beam) to function correctly, follow these step-by-step instructions.
  1. From a Home screen, swipe up to access the apps screen.
  2. Navigate:
    Settings
     Settings icon >
    Connected devices
    .
  3. Tap
    Connection preferences
    .
  4. Tap the
    NFC switch
     to turn on Switch on or off Switch off.
  5. If prompted, tap
    OK
