To perform the steps below, ensure the SD / memory card is inserted.

Ensure your tablet isn't connected to a computer via the USB cable.

From a Home screen, swipe up from the center of the display to access the apps screen.

Navigate:

Settings

Battery and device care

Storage

Tap the

Menu icon

then tap

Advanced

Tap the name of the SD card.

The name varies depending upon the type of card used.

Format

Review the disclaimer then tap

Format SD card

Allow several seconds for the process to complete.
