Samsung Galaxy Tab S5e - Manage Do Not Disturb Settings

If your Galaxy Tab S5e isn't receiving alerts for texts and email, here's how to check Do Not Disturb settings.
  1. Open the
    Settings app
    .
  2. Navigate:
    Notifications
    Do not disturb
    .
  3. Do either of the following:
    • To activate / deactivate immediately, tap the
      Do not disturb switch
      to turn on or off.
    • To manage a 'Do not disturb' schedule, tap the 
      Turn on as scheduled switch
      to turn on or off.
      To create a new schedule, tap
      Add schedule
      .
      To edit an existing schedule, tap the schedule name then configure as desired (e.g., Days, Start time, etc.).
  4. From the 'Exceptions' section, tap
    Calls, messages, and conversations
    .
  5. Tap
    Calls
    then select an option (e.g., All, Contacts only, None, etc.).
  6. Tap the
    Repeat callers switch
    to turn on or off.
  7. Tap
    Messages
    then select an option (e.g., All, Contacts only, None, etc.)
  8. Tap
    Conversations
    then select an option (e.g., All, Priority conversations, etc.).
  9. Tap the
    Back icon
    Back icon to return to the previous screen.
  10. Tap
    Alarms and sounds
    .
  11. Tap the preferred items to turn sounds and vibrations (e.g., Alarms, Media sound, Touch sound, etc.) on or off.
  12. Tap the
    Back icon
    to return to the previous screen.
  13. Tap
    Hide notifications
    then tap a notification setting (e.g., Hide all, Hide full screen notification, Hide app icon badges, etc.) to turn on or off.
