Here's how to find and schedule an appointment with a nearby repair shop if your Hum equipped vehicle detects an issue.
If an Auto Health issue is detected using vehicle diagnostics, you'll be presented with the option to
find a nearby repair shop
, schedule a drop-off
, and view, reschedule, or cancel
an appointment.Find a Nearby Repair Shop
Repair shops are provided by Repair Pal. Not all repair shops may be included within the nearby listings.
- Open the Hum application.
- Tap theMenu icon
(upper-left).
- TapAuto Health.
- View the appropriate issue then tapSee details.
- TapFind Repair Shopsto locate a nearby repair shop.A list of nearby repair shops will automatically appear location permissions for Hum is enabled.Alternatively, you can perform a manual search using a zip code.
- From the map, perform one of the following:
- Tap theMap icon
to see name and address of nearby repair shops.
- Tap the name of the repair shop to see name, address, website, hours, etc.
Schedule a Drop-off Appointment
Once the appointment has been submitted and confirmed, a confirmation email will be sent to the email address listed in the contact information on the form.
- Select a repair shop.
- From the Repair Shop details screen, tapSchedule Now.
- From the 'Choose a drop-off time' section, tap theClock icon
.
- Select the preferred day and time for your appointment.Only available dates and times appear as options for scheduling. If a repair shop is closed, the date may be grayed out.
- From the 'What brings you in?' section, enter a brief description of the issue.
- Tap the 'Send diagnostic information to shop' box to send any diagnostic information provided by the Hum mobile app.Contact and vehicle information will be imported from primary account holder information and selected vehicle in the mobile app.If a secondary driver is completing the form, the contact information will display the primary account holder contact information and cannot be edited.
- ClickSubmit.
- If preferred, tapAdd to calendar to add the appointmentto your phone's default calendar app orview the appointmentin the Appointments section on the Auto Health feature screen.
View, Reschedule, and Cancel an Appointment
- If an appointment is canceled over the phone or outside of the mobile app, the mobile app may not reflect the cancellation.
- Customer will receive an email notification that the email was canceled, however if the customer saved the appointment to their mobile app calendar app, the appointment will not be removed from their calendar app.
- From the Auto Health screen, tap theAppointments tab.The screen will display any upcoming and past appointments.If there are no upcoming appointments, you can search for nearby shops.
- If necessary, from the 'Appointment info' screen, tap one of the following:
- RescheduleYou are taken back to the appointment form to select and confirm a different time.
- Cancel Appointment.TapYesto confirm and send a cancellation notice to the repair shop. This action cannot be undone in the mobile app.Once canceled, the appointment will show a gray 'Canceled' status on the appointment details tab.
