Samsung Galaxy Tab A (8.4 inch) - Set Date and Time

If your Galaxy Tab A (8.4 inch) shows the incorrect date and/or time, here's how to correct it.
  1. From a Home screen, swipe up to access the apps screen.
  2. Navigate:
    Settings Settings icon
    General management
    Date and time
    .
  3. Do one of the following:
    • To use network-provided values, ensure that Automatic date and time is on Switch on.
    • To adjust manually, ensure that 'Automatic date and time' is off Switch off then:
      1. Tap
        Select time zone
        .
      2. Tap
        Time zone
         then select the appropriate time zone.
        If necessary, tap
        Region
         then tap the appropriate location.
      3. Tap the
        Back icon
         Back icon to return to the 'Date and time' screen.
      4. Tap
        Set date
        .
      5. Set the date then tap
        Done
        .
      6. Tap
        Set time
        .
      7. Set the time then tap
        Done
        .
  4. If desired, tap
    Use 24-hour format
     to turn on Switch on or off Switch off.
