Here's how transfer contacts to your GO FLIP V via Verizon Cloud, email or text messaging.
Transferring contacts to your Alcatel GO FLIP™ V is an option upon initial device setup. After setup, contacts can be imported using Verizon Cloud, Bluetooth®, Email or text messaging.

  1. From the main screen, select
    MENU
    .
    Utilize the 5-way navigation pad to highlight and the OK button to select.

    Settings
    .
  3. Select
    Phone Settings
    .
  4. Select
    Accounts
    .
  5. Select
    Verizon Cloud
    .
  6. Select
    Next
    .
    Backup begins automatically.
    Contacts that have been backed up automatically restore.
  1. From another device select the Contact(s) to be transferred then select send by Bluetooth to send the contact(s) as.vcf file attachments.
    Ensure Bluetooth on your GO FLIP V is turned on.
    From the device list select Alcatel GO FLIP V.
  2. From your GO FLIP V, press the
    right soft key
     Right soft key to accept the transfer.
    Transferred contacts will be sent to File Manager.
  3. To open the file on your GO FLIP V select
    MENU
     from the main screen.
    Utilize the 5-way navigation pad to highlight and the OK button to select.

  4. Select
    Tools
    .
  5. Select
    File Manager
    .
  6. Select
    Bluetooth
    .
  7. Select the recently transferred contact file.
  8. To confirm, press the
    right soft key
     to choose OK.
To receive contacts transferred via email, a personal email account must be added to your GO FLIP V.
  1. From another device select the Contact(s) to be transferred then select send by Email to send the contact(s) as.vcf file attachments.
  2. From the main screen of your GO FLIP V, select
    MENU
    .
    Utilize the 5-way navigation pad to highlight and the OK button to select.

  3. Select
    Email
    .
  4. Highlight then select the appropriate email address.
  5. Press the
    right soft key
     Right soft key to choose Options.
  6. Select
    Details
    .
  7. Press the
    left soft key
     Left soft key to choose Download.
  8. To confirm, press the
    right soft key
     to choose OK.
  1. From another device select the Contact(s) to be transferred via text messaging then enter the 10-digit number for your GO FLIP V.
  2. From the main screen of your GO FLIP V, select
    MENU
    .
    Utilize the 5-way navigation pad to highlight and the OK button to select.

    Messages
    .
  4. Highlight the message containing the contact(s) then press the
    right soft key
     Right soft key to choose Options.
  5. Select
    View
    .
  6. To confirm, press the
    right soft key
     to choose OK.
