Orbic Chromebook - Enable / Disable / Modify Screen Lock

Here's how to set up, change or disable the screen lock option (e.g., password, pattern, etc.) for your Orbic Chromebook.
Your Google™ (Gmail™) password is used to unlock your Orbic® Chromebook®. For help with changing the password, visit this Gmail Help page.
  1. Open the
    Settings app
    .
  2. Click
    Lock screen and sign-in
    .
  3. Enter the current password for the account then click
    Confirm
    .
  4. Do one of the following:
    • Set up Password
      1. Select
        Password only
        .
    • Set up PIN
      1. Select
        PIN or password
        .
      2. Click
        Set up PIN
        .
      3. Enter a numeric PIN at least 6 digits in length then click
        Continue
        .
      4. Re-enter the numeric PIN then tap
        Continue
        .
