Here's how to remove or delete apps if your Galaxy Watch5 / Galaxy Watch5 Pro is unresponsive, freezes or an app won't open.

From your Android™ smartphone, ensure your Galaxy Watch5 / Galaxy Watch5 Pro software is up to date as the steps below apply to the most recent version.

Apps included with the Wear OS by Google operating system may not have an uninstall option.

From the watch screen, open the

Settings app

Navigate:

Apps

Apps list

Locate then select the applicable app.

Do one of the following:

To uninstall the app:

Tap

Uninstall

Tap the

Checkmark icon

to confirm.

To uninstall app updates:

Tap

Uninstall Updates

This option is only available when an update has been installed.

Tap the

Checkmark icon

to confirm.
